Use Google Earth To Your Advantage

Published by RES under REALTOR® Showcase

Rita D’Angelo has created a very well done commercial for the Lake
Isabella and Kern River Valley area she sells. An interesting part of
the commercial is the initial scene, which is an image captured from
Google Earth (free from Google) that presents an overview of the valley
and lake. Zooming into the lake to begin the commercial creates a
captivating intro to a very well done commercial. She then featured
this and other commercials on the main page of her website to
demonstrate her knowledge of the area.

Realtor.com Showcase Listing Enhancements

Published by RES under Explanations

I’m A Showcase Listing Enhancements Customer of REALTOR.COM, why am I being asked to pay the $25 Fee?

There is a simple, but frustrating, answer to that question. The reason is that the information in the Property Details of your Show do not match EXACTLY what Realtor.com has in their system. Extra characters, # signs or the wrong city or zip are typically the reason for this. If the information does not match exactly, Realtor.com will tell us you are not a Showcase Listing Enhancement Customer. Remember, this is two computers talking to one another, they have to be perfectly aligned in order to make the right assessment. So, check the information on Realtor.com and make certain the property detail in your Real Estate Show matches EXACTLY with what is shown on the Realtor.com listing - then submit again.

If they match, the system will now know you are a Showcase Listing Enhancement Customer and you will NOT be charged.

Force Your Titles To Read Properly

Published by Jeff Turner under Tips & Advice

The titles in your Real Estate Show will read better if one or two words don’t “hang” over to a new line. It not only looks odd, it disrupts the reader’s flow.

To correct this, just use the return key to force a better break point:

Romance An Undeveloped Piece Of Land

Published by RES under REALTOR® Showcase

Selling an undeveloped piece of property can be somewhat of a
challenge. Homes have so much more emotional appeal. Using a great
piece of music and some good titles allows you to "romance" the buyer
with the possibility the land holds.

In this example, Chary doesn’t oversell the property, but uses the titles to highlight the important features.
