How Does Google See Your Website?

by Jeff Turner on August 20, 2007

Brad CarrollBrad Carroll is one of my favorite writers on ActiveRain. I subscribe to his blog there, as do a great many others.

Today he wrote, “See Your Site Through The Eyes Of Google.” It is a well written post with a good comparative analysis of various sites using Poodle Predictor. Brad starts:

“When a web visitor views your site, they are immediately greeted with graphics, text, and possibly even videos or flash. Obviously, humans can quickly scan and read these elements and then determine what is important. Search Engines however see your site in a whole different light.”

Go read Brad’s post for yourself. You’ll be glad you did.
