JottBlogging? ...We have no idea if we coined this term or not... probably NOT. It's not important. We don't really care what it's called. We wanted to test out the use of Jott.com in creating a unique kind of blog content delivery. We like to think of it as "in the moment" blog posts.

Every post on this blog is being generated using Jott.com's voice transcription service. The transcription is not always 100% accurate, but we think it's close enough. The added benefit is that you get the voice that generated it included.

Update On Jott And Vitalist

This is a long over due update on my test of Jott and VitaList. I’m using it almost daily now as a way to notify myself of things that I need to do and Vitalist has actually replaced a system of to do lists that I have been using for 20 years. I could never bring myself to get rid of my old paper system until now. I’m still waiting on Jott to increase the length of the message.

Vitalist And Jott: Nice Combination

Vitalist and Jott might be the perfect combination of two websites.
I am just beginning to testing this but i find a great article that I appoint you to last night link from Technorati from Jott’s website that is just making sense so lets see how that it all works. I hve been testing this for the past few days and I like it a great deal. I first read about the possibilities at Shainemata.net in a post entitled, “Jott-alist.” I got it to work on first try and I’ve been using it to create my to do list. I’ve always used a paper to do list and still will… I’m just going to print out the Vitalist reminder email I get each day at midnight. It’s worth a look.

Drafting Comments For Jott To Draft

Ok people, is anyone still reading this little Jott blog experiment? If so, let’s see if we can put our heads together and figure out what the perfect uses for a Jott to draft might be. I think there is a lot of opportunity for that, especially when it does not publish directly, but gives you a start to a post (like this did), so if you are watching make some comments. How would you use Jott if you could dictate the Jott and know it was going to draft mode so you could edit later? What circumstances would benefit from the blog reader being able hear the audio used to seed the post?—Thanks.
