Renee Burrows Gets A Show Review

by Jeff Turner on April 9, 2007

Lucky for me, Renee Burrows is a good sport.Renee Burrows

As I watched a Show Renee had linked to one of her posts on ActiveRain, I couldn’t help thinking about what I would have done differently in the Show. That’s not unusual for me, but since I had been reading Renee’s posts for quite some time, I felt comfortable sending her an email asking if I could critique her show – in front of everyone!

She responded exactly they way I thought she would, and I quote, “PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO! You have my unadulterated permission to use ANYTHING I have done.” Well, that sounded like “yes” to me, so we’re all going to take a look at her Esplanade Condominiums Show to see how we can make it better.

Very Cool, Jeff & Renee! Can I suggest one more thing? A few of the titles might be easier to read if placed at the top, in the sky or at least out of the landscaping. (Nitpicky? YES.) I admit it. I am a Real Estate Shows junkie.

Nice touch Jeff, excellent to be able to see how it should be done. Sarah makes a good point, also.

I agree with Renee, best value out in the market.

Jay, you’re right. Sarah’s suggestion is a good one. Although, I do find it jarring sometimes to jump from top to bottom when reading the titles. When necessary, it’s a very good option, however.

This was a very helpful tutorial. Little things can make a huge difference. I appreciate Renee’s willingness to have her show used as an example. Thank You.

Jeff, thank for the critique of Renee’s show. It was incredibly helpful for me on my very first show (I posted it to AR today)

Thanks! I can’t wait to learn more!
