Spring Cleaning Your Real Estate Shows

It’s that magical time of year – spring! For Sale signs sprout from yards like spring flowers across the country and many areas are setting up for their most active months of the year.  If it’s been a while since you’ve tended to your Real Estate Shows account, you may want to take a few minutes to make sure you’re putting your best foot forward.

First, check your Personal Branding, which you can access through the link at the upper right of your Main Menu page.

  • Make sure your picture is up to date.  It’s nice to be recognized when you meet new clients for the first time!
  • If you need to update your logo, please send it to us as an attachment to info (at) realestateshows.com.  (It can take up to three business days for your new logo to be added to our logo library, we’ll send you an email so you’ll know when it’s ready.)
  • Your contact information is at the very bottom of this page, scroll down to make any needed updates.

Also be sure to check the Edit Account Info area, located under the “Welcome” on the Main Menu page.  Some of your brokerage information will feed out to Flyers and window frames, so pay careful attention here.

Then take a look at your Manage & Edit page.  If you have Shows in the Active Listings area that have sold or been removed from the market, you can sort these by using the “Move Show Into” dropbox to the right to move the Show into the proper tab.  (You’ll find a video and further explanation for moving Shows here.)  Take a look at the “Viewable in Other Shows” boxes to the right, as well.  If you’ve checked the box, these Shows will appear in your RSS feed and Widget (found at the links at the upper left of the page) and in your Other Shows Link, found at the bottom of every Show Links page.  Shows that have this box checked will link back to the rest of your inventory.
