Syndicate Your Real Estate Listings With RealEstateShows.com

by RES on May 28, 2007

syndicate your real estate listings with realestateshows.comComing Soon To RealEstateShows.com!

We’ve had syndication on our upgrade list for some time and we’re now ready to let everyone know about it. Many of our clients have told us we should add an easy way to push listing information to more sites than just Realtor.com, Homes.com and the MLS.

We agree. We want to be your resource for promoting and distributing real estate listings. When this update is complete, getting your listings out to sites like Google Base, Edgeio, Trulia, Oodle, Craigslist and more, will be as simple as pressing a button. And Shows of all types will be able to be broadcast via RSS feed as well.

When released, each Show you designate will have its own web page. We are still designing the page templates and ironing out the code, but we hope to have these new features launched in the next 60-90 days.

Stay tuned. We’re excited this. We hope you are too.

Jeff – This is fantastic news! I think this is the biggest news in real estate since the days of “the listing book”. Looking forward to seeing how it all works.

Jeff, sounds great! Will you also have a summary page of all of an office’s listings — like Listings XPress – that could be framed into an existing web page?

RES May 29, 2007 at 1:42 pm

Maureen… I am too. :)

Cheryl…. we already have a summary page with our group accounts that many frame into their existing web pages.

Here’s an example: http://www.realestateshows.com/show/groupinventory.php?groupid=6

Do you have an example of the webpage?

Jeff Turner May 29, 2007 at 7:14 pm

Maureen… not yet. When we get closer to release, I’ll post a few jpeg images of the samples.

Jeff — That’s just want I wanted — I signed up — But I can’t seem to see the way to navigate to my own group inventory page — Can you point me at it?

(my group just consists of a few test shows at the moment)

Thanks!

Cheryl… we are working on making this more obvious. We know it is NOT. To get that page to initialize, you must first tell our system that you want the Shows to appear in “Other Shows.” This is done by clicking on the radio button next to each Show in the Manage area of your account. I have done this for two of your three Shows and you will now see an “Other Shows” link on all of your Shows now. That link is the link to your inventory page. Here it is:
